Founded by Phil Marsland in 2016, our purpose is to help leaders, HR and organisations to thrive and grow.

 

With many years experience in senior positions and HR roles Phil brings not only considerable expertise but also a talent for insights and pragmatic solutions.

His career has been across both private and public sectors.   Sectors include manufacturing, engineering, sales/construction contracting, IT solutions, consumer products, local authorities and education, food retail, NHS, government contracts and the Home Office.

 

Phil has a track record of flexing to meet your needs through really listening to where you are now, your challenges and hopes, and then working with you to agree, create  and implement fit for purpose, bespoke solutions.  Solutions that work for you and your organisation, right now.

Scott Leiper

Scott has spent the last 13 years developing The Learning Lab, a creative and diverse

leadership and management development business The Learning Lab. He has an established reputation for making the often complex, simple, practical, and memorable.

Over this time at The Learning Lab, he used his unique learning iconography approach to underpin several creative and often award-winning solutions. Such as designing a

conceptual theme park as a vehicle to communicate organisational change. Sir Ranulph Fiennes endorsed, explorer training programme to assist with an engagement strategy.

 

Scott was recognised in 2021 by HR Magazine as one of HR Most Influential Thinkers

Antonia Nicholls

Antonia is experienced in advising on employment law, discipline, grievance and performance problems (including sickness absence management), restructures and UKBA immigration requirements. She has experience of recruitment/ selection as well as induction. Antonia is experienced in delivering the full range of HR training to managers.

 

Antonia has a Certificate in Executive Coaching and is trained and experienced in the Higher Education Job Evaluation Scheme (HERA). She has undertaken Equal Pay Reviews and has produced a variety of HR Policies and Procedures through consultation with trade unions, including a pay and grading structure and competency framework.

 

Sian Whelan

Siân is a fully qualified HR and recruitment professional and a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD.

 

After years of senior HR and recruitment experience covering the UK and Europe, she founded her own business with the mission to find HR solutions that increase business performance and growth. Her operational and strategic experience has enabled her to successfully support business leaders and deliver company-focused results.

 

Lucy Philip

Originally starting her career as a specialist nurse Lucy is now a learning and development specialist with over 20 years of experience in leading, managing, coaching and training. She has vast experience of working with both individuals and large commercial organisations.

Lucy is also an Insights Discovery practitioner.
